Star Trek: Starship Creator is one of the best Star Trek or designing games you can get. .
.
.
I bought it from a magazine for a bargain of $15.00, and I have not been one single bit disappointed. .
.
.
The idea is to design a ship without exhausting your credits, but still allow it to complete specific missions. .
.
.
First of all, you enter into any of three modes:.
.
.
Begginer, which allows your ship to come complete with not only all the important systems, but even more basic systems which you would normally need to install on harder levels..
.
.
These missions are very basic and easy to complete..
.
.
Intermediate, which only comes with the systems that are needed to make it space-worthy, but the ships are cheaper to buy..
.
.
In this mode, you need to install systems such as Transpoters, Shuttle Bays and Shuttle Craft, and Facilities..
.
.
This mode includes five extra missions..
.
.
Advanced, which strips all new ships of their systems, but each class is available to have one to four new systems, such as Intrepid's Enhanced Shields and Class K Warp Drive (Transwarp Drive), or Defiant's Phaser Pulses, Ablative Armor and Cloaking Device..
.
.
These ships also only cost around 2,000 to 10,000 credits to buy, seeing as they're empty. This mode includes yet another five missions..
.
.
Next, you get to choose the class of vessel that your new ship is to be. You get to choose from seven different classes which are:.
.
.
Constitution: One of the first ships ever..
.
Excelsior: Designed to test Transwarp Technology..
.
Galaxy: The prototype for detatchable saucer sections..
.
.
Defiant: The class designed to fight the Borg..
.
Intrepid: The second attempt for Transwarp..
.
Sovereign: The most advanced battleship yet..
.
.
Then name your ship and view it in all its glory. Then select the crew who's going to work miracles..
.
.
Finally, you can send your ship on all sorts of missions..
