The following trick will get you free extra credits. To do it just buy cheap armour and weapons from the junkyard and add them to your spares. If you then save the game and return to the 'Robot Setup' screen on the 'Main' menu you will be able to sell them for the full price.
When you complete the following tasks you will unlock the corresponding robot.
Behemoth:
Win The Russian Rampage (Russia).
Chaos 2:
Win the Robot Wars World Championship Tournament.
Diotoir:
Win the Rooftop Punishment (Japan).
Firestorm:
Win The Hamburg Heavyweight (Germany).
Hypnodisc:
Win the Flip Frenzy Tournament with Chaos 2.
Mortis:
Win the Liberty Lightweight Cup with a Lightweight Robot.
Panic Attack:
Win Scrapyard Challenge (Sao Paulo).
Pussycat:
Win the Alpha Viking (North Sea).
Razor:
Win The Nerves Of Steel (New York).
Terrorhurtz:
Win the Heavy Bomber (Siberia).
Thor:
Win the Robot Wars Championship.
When you complete the following tasks the corresponding arena will become unlocked.
Hamburg Dockyard:
Unlocked after you earn 8,000 credits.
Mount Kilimanjaro:
Hidden until the player wins World Championship.
New York Steelworks:
Unlocked after you earn 15,000 credits.
North Sea Oil Rig:
Unlocked after you earn 3,000 credits.
Sao Paulo Scrapyard:
Unlocked after you earn 10,000 credits.
Siberian Military Base:
Unlocked after you earn 25,000 credits.
Tokyo Rooftop:
Unlocked after you earn 5,000 credits.
when you your enimie or even a house robot is on the flipper in arena 1 press Alt and wait 20 seconds then press Alt again and watch 'em fly
N.B. time will continue in the frozen period but not end
Unlock ALL Robots, Arenas and Trophies:
Log in with the name 'JPEARCE' without the quotes.
Unlock Secret Levels:
Unlock the Siberia Arena and win the World Championship and you will have access to the Kilimanjaro Volcano level which has 3 more tournaments.
When building a robot, add spikes with your normal weapons like flamethrowers and saw blades etc.
They dish out more damage and allow you to keep attacking when other weapons fall off.
In London wait at the beginning of a fight until your opponent goes onto the arena floor-flipper.
Press 'alt' and this pauses it.
Wait 10-20 seconds and press 'alt' again. The flipper should activate.

The only way which I have found to delete robots, is to build too many. At which point it asks which robot you would like to delete before making a new one. |

It is possible you have made your robot too heavy to complete or too much money has been spent on the robot. |
