How do you get stronger fences

Is there a way to keep fences from breaking??

There is really no way to have stronger fences. Over the years, fences will deteriorate (They will even faster if you use the shift + 4 money cheat) and will need to be repaired. Some fences hold longer than other fences, like the plexi-glass exhibit fences. A site called Wisco's Zoo Tycoon, has quoted:

Use water around the animals that cannot swim, but leave a space for the zookeeper to walk; Lower down the exhibit. This will make them in the ground and animals won't escape even as fences deteriorate.


I would suggest taking his/her advice and doing this. As for my own experiences, plexiglass, electric and chain fences do not deteriorate as fast as iron or stick fences. I hope this was of help to you!
