Meter jumps are one of the largest frustrations on WGT, but you can lessen the effects of the "jumper" with a few easy machine modifications and a few techniques that virtually eliminate jumpers. The basics are- dragging your mouse along a power meter and releasing the depressed right mouse button at the desired place on the scale, then right clicking at the centre yellow line on the scale.
If you do this successfully , "Excellent" appears on the screen with an audio DING.
To lessen jumps- close all other windows that aren't required , close any system resources that you can get away with, regular defrags of your hard drive help, have a practice swing or 2.
It is a rhythm and good anticipation that gets the DINGS.
The golf equipment is largely responsible for the speed that the pointer travels , after release, toward the HIT line/ right click. This is noted beside your club with a swing speed meter varying from make and model. This is also true of the golf ball itself. Some golf balls have a very slow/small swing speed meter such as MAX control balls, when combined with a slower club swing meter.
Rule 1. The faster it travels the more likely a jump.
There is a myth that goes along the lines that the more friends you have the more resources are drained and presto a jumper. NOT TRUE, or if it is, the spec of your browser host machine is inadequate. I had 500 friends at one stage with NO EFFECT at all on the frequency of jumps.
See on the course.

Hold your swing at the top of the backswing this allows time for everything to get in cink 2/3 secs is all and you will see a smoother meter
