when i put my mouse pointer over anything in my bag there is a magnifying glass and i cant click on anything. how do i fix it?

This happens when the shift button is pushed down. Check to see if 'sticky keys' is turned on in windows. I believe you can press shift key 5 times in a row to turn it off.
It shows you what the item will look like on you, so it's a cared of a good thing when you don't want the soul bound you can sell it.
