First you must gather a gold for money, Coal, and of course work for food. You can store food in food storage and increases your storing capacity. Built a Farm, Barn, and market place were you can trade your excess coal or money into something you need, let say wood and food. Earn the experience by simply satisfying all the need of the town, so you can unlock and upgrade the luxuries you want.
