My people unblocked the cave and I dragged an adult to it and it said stuff and brought me back to the village. What does the cave do, anyway?

Nothing. What you saw was all it did. It doesn't lead you to anywhere. It's really wanting you to buy virtual villagers 2. It's kinda like a to be continued type thing
It does nothing really. What you saw was what you got. I guess you could look at it as a "to be continued..." type thing.
Dragging a master builder to the cave will allow them to dig for the treasure
