I've had this women trying to be a master builder since the start of the game, have knocked down some totems, unlocked some puzzles and had her building or working on the mausoleum the whole time but she's still adept, is there any way to speed her up?

What I did was leave the game on pause and go do something else, after a day the woman went from adept to master and I got 2 achievments.
(Turns out that if you leave vv5 on pause it still does stuff but doesent advance age(I think))
