I haven't played the game...wow, I can only guess at this one... But I figure there is something wrong with where the save files are being stored on your PC... When you save next... See where the save files go... Or try looking for them on your pc. If all is working, then they should be there when you start up again...

Un-less... You are re-loading the game every thime you go to play it. Are you playing from a CD? Or is the game installed onto your PC (you might be playing from and Icon on your desktop...)

Did you buy the game as a CD and installed it once, and now you are playing it from your PC? Because I would try to re-install it (delete it first, then re-install) because something might have not quite worked in the initial install.

Another possibility is that if the game offers you two ways to play it.. One being a full install on your PC, where you only use the CD once, then play from an icon on your desktop... And the other being a quicker way, where it just lets you play off the disc without installing the game onto your PC... If this is the case, and you are playing the second option, then it might not allow saves (even if it says it does) onto your PC. Fully install the game to do this.

Other than that, unless your game is glitchy, I can't think of any other reasons for it to be happening.
