Barter with the Faerie for it. I believe she wants Honey in exchange.

To buy a house in Magic Town, you need MagicCoins as well as regular money. The cost for each house is listed just like those in Sim Lane. There are rumours of a MagicCoin cheat, but I haven't had any luck with them. You can earn the coins by performing magic or dueling. The best resuts I have found is by performing magic in 94 Calamity Forest until your energy hits rock bottom and your sim refuses to perform any more. You get 25 MagiCoins per trick if your logic is maxed.

HINT: while the sim is in the middle of a trick, pick another trick to perform. The sim remains on the stage and moves right into the next trick. I have earned up to 450 coins before my sim refuses to do any more and has to go home to rest.

You can buy a dragon nest from Vicki Vampiress. When you get home, your sim will drop the nest, containing a dragon egg at the doorstep. You can move the nest to wherever you want it in either Buy or Build Mode.

HINT: depending on how caring or neglectful you are with the egg, the dragon turns out and behaves differently.

HINT: keep lots of Daffodil plants in your yard. Your dragon will love them.

HINT: Groom him often to get Dragon Scales and tickle him often for Dragon Tears

WARNING: Your dragon breathes fire and sets things ablaze. Make sure you have smoke detectors everywhere, even outside!!!!!

By the way, kids can't grow up. They can in the Sim 2 though.

To answer the sim child thing...... If your sim child is using magic there is a charm that will turn them into an adult like the spell that turns your pet into a human the child to adult cannot be changed back EVER so make sure you really want the child to be an adult b4 you use the charm I can't remember what you need to make it but there is one there
