how do i get power to my place

Ok so I have finished the game but I can't get power to run anything what do I do to get it

If you mean you finished story mode and you're at the residence hut:
Did you did up crate with power station in it??
Did you place power station need your hut??
If you're on free play:
You can get power station from story rewards and set it up.
