How do I get wildlife like raccoons to come to my house?

There are special gnomes, one for stray dogs, cats, and wildlife(horses raccoons, etc.) You can set each gnome to allow strays or discourage strays.

You simply enter buy mode, click kids', click pet essentials, click misc., and ta-dah! That's where the little gnomes are. Although I'm uncertain that the gnomes actually help, for I have one of each and so far nothing has happened. Plus, in the description, it says that the gnomes can lure AND scare off wild life/stray cats/stray dogs.

I just bought the "wildlife stray" gnome and racoons and other wildlife will appear :-D

You go and buy one at the store my bob thing. You can't catch one I don't think? Why don't you ask someone! Geez!!!

Click ctrl+shift and click the animal and click add to active family 👍

I know how to get a pet raccoon! If you put in the 'testingcheatsenabled true' and then shift click the raccoon and press edit Sim in create a Sim then you save that Sim to the bin. When you create a new family go to cat and then open up the bin and choose the raccoon and voilà! Raccoons are just modified cats so it's easy to get them. The only downside is that they meow. I'm going to try this with a deer too hahah
