I have a two questions. One is can I create a family with a teen already there?
Or do I have to create a famliy and they have to raise a child to a teen?
I'm confused myself at this, but I'm trying to learn this university stuff.
So can anyone help me with these questions. I'll take more infomation on others related or close to the exact questions.

You have plenty of options.
You can go in to the universities screen in your town and create a sim to go straight into University. They arent teenangers, they are young adults.

Or you can create a family with a teenager and then send him or her to university after increasing the grades abit.

A teenager can't however be on their own in the normal villiage. They have to become adults before moving out of the family home.

You can just create a family with a teen.. There is an option in the create a sim process that alters there age between toddler, teen, etc..
You don't need to create a family with a toddler and then raise it to a teen.. That would just waste time. =)
