bakery troubles?!
ive started a bakery on a community lot and i made my chef bake lots of different cakes and then i put them in the display case. but when i opened the shop, nobody would come and buy them? and i couldnt click on them to sell them to people? what do i do?

Make sure you actually put the cakes for sale, If you use your business buttons on the upper right side of the screen, you can put it for sale, Click on the price tag and go around clicking things you want to put out for sale. when it is highlighted yellow that means that people can now buy them.

I had the same problem but later realised that is your sim serves any of the cake you can not sell it make sure that as soon as your sim take the cake out of the oven delete the action so they just put the cake down and add it to your simms inventory.

You can sell it go to the top right hand coner click on the price tag click the plate and of it turns yellow that means it is for sale

If you don't have an open/closed sign, you can find it in misc decor. I'm pretty sure you'll need one of those. You also need to set the prices of what you are selling by clicking on the price tag button in the business tracker on the top right of your screen, choosing how expensive you want certain items to be and clicking on each item. If an item is yellow, it means it is for sale, and if you hover over it it will tell you how expensive you have set the item. If you would like an item to no longer be for sale, simply click on the item while the price tag button is clicked and it will no longer be yellow. If you would like to change the price of an item, make sure the price tag button is clicked, choose how expensive you want the item to be, click on it so that it is no longer yellow and click on it again.
