Tombstone of Life and Death?

After i type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, i try to hold shift + N and click on a character to get the tombstone of life and death and other things but when i click on the person the options show up and disappear to quickly for me to choose one, how d i fix this?

Personally, every time I try the shift click on Sims 2 Double Deluxe, after typing the cheat in, nothing happens. I read somewhere that for the Double Deluxe you have to buy something?? Not heard of that one before, but I Google'd it, and that's what someone had said.

all of you guys are doing it wrong. I have the sims 2 doubke deluxe edition. All you have to do is put in the cheat code (boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true) and then shift+click on asy sim. An option will then come up, among a number of other options, to *Spawn... Click on it and then you'll find the tombstone of life and death (its the tombstone of L and D in the menu thingy.)
