Portrait Painting

Question asked by paintdork on
Last Modified:

Portrait Painting

In the opening screenshot, there is an image of a Sim painting the portrait of another Sim who is lounging on a sofa. I haven't been able to get a Sim to pose for a portrait doing anything but standing there next to the one who is painting. Does anyone know how to get the subject of a portrait to pose, as in lying on a sofa?

When you get all your points up for painting, there will be like a camera and you have a sim do something, then you click enter or something. And you sims will start painting that thing or sim.Ive done it before

chans answered:

Acually, it's just 6 painting points. Then you do, something like, Paint A Still LIfe.

Arsenal#1 answered:

And have someone lounging, then select them for still life.

hergreeneyes answered:

Yeah, Paint a Still life is the best. A sim with enough skill points can pretty much paint anything.
Doing this is better than painting a portrait because you have to wait for the sim to come over.

sean_-_ answered:

First get a sim with full creativity points. Then make anothersim lounge on the sofa then get the sim with the creativity and click on the easel paint still life. Then using the veiwfinder get the picture you want and bam! You got a portrait of that person.

sims2superaddict answered:

You actually only need 5 or 6 creativity skill points. Then just paint a still life.

I done this before get your sim to lounge on the sofa then get another sim to paint still life an take the pic of you're sim on sofa
