i accidentally deleted my sim while i was in buy mode how do i g

Okay, I'm a little confused as to what you're talking about. How you possibly deleted your Sim while you weren't in Neighborhood mode, I'll never figure out. Once your Sim is deleted, however, I'm afraid it's gone. I'm sorry. I don't know how to help you unless you give more information.

First, you need to type in the cheatcode by hitting Ctrl+Shift+C to bring up the cheatcode bar. Type in boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true and hit enter. After it goes away, Shift+click any sim not in your family and click make selectable. Then, click him so it's you main sim then Shift+click him again and select Spawn then click Tombstone of L and D. Click the tombstone then hit add neighbor to family and keep clicking more until you find the name of the sim you accidentally deleted click the name and they will reappear. If you don't still want the sim you clicked to get your sim back then Shift+click that sim and click Make Unselectable.

I deleted a sim before. But is was a robot going amok. I wanted him gone. When I restarted the game later, He was back.

Yeah, all you need to do is go out and come back. I had a baby once, and it got stuck up a wall, because... I dont know why. But I couldnt get him cown, so I had to delete him. When I went back to play that family later, he was there.

I am not finding a way to bring my Sim Back. Shift click = invite over and chat. That's all. Tried the family tree, she is there however I cannot get her back on the game.

Well you can just go ctrl shift c and the cheat-box comes up.
Type in: Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
Then shift click on a sim (they bust be selectable, if you're sim lives by themself wait until someone walks past and shiFT click on them and make THEM selecctable) then choose the option spawn then tombstone of L&D (life and death) now choose add member to family (or someting like that) and under that option the sim that you deleted will be there. Click on their name and they will appear, I am not sure but I don't think you have to make them selectable again I think they already are, cause I don't play sims 2 anymore I play sims 3 now.

I had to delete one of my sim's twin baby because no one could pick her up, feed her, change her etc and I didnt want the social worker to take her away. Her face disappeared from the family and she remained gone even after I had saved the game. She re-appeared on the pavement at the front of the house when I re-started the game. Go figure :s

I just did this, but alas...It will still be there when you restart the game. So there you have it. But if you were using moveObjects on that may be how you deleted it, if not...I am not sure. So there you have it!

Adopt a baby and make it an adult. Then make the adopted adult move with the deleted baby, since it still is in the household. Then make your ordinary sim go to the house where the adopted sim moved with the baby and type testingcheatsenabled true. After that press shift+klick on the baby and choose add member to family. And voila!

You could try to ctrl + Shift + C and type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Then do the same thing except type in moveobjects on. Then Click the trash can and click reset age? Something age.. Havent played in awhile..

ANSWER FOR SIMS 3 : I deleted my husband sim using Delete object in play mode. He was gone, and after a whole day of playing the wife had a child and became pregnant once again. So I decided to save my gameplay and go on without the husband instead of losing my children skills and new house. The next day I realized that the husband was still in the family tree and the wife still had wishes to chat and woohoo with the husband so I decided I needed him. I looked for all the cheats. I tried everything and finally fond the solution to get him back using no cheats at all....GO TO EDIT TOWN MODE. CLICK ON THE HOUSEHOLD THAT YOU DELETED YOUR SIM FROM. THE PICTURE OF THE SIM YOU WANT SHOULD APPEAR, SELECT SPLIT UP HOUSEHOLD, CHOOSE THE SIM YOU WANT TO RESPAWN AND THEN CLICK ACCEPT. THE SIM WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE PLACED IN YOUR TOP LEFT HAND CORNER AND THEN YOU DRAG HIM BACK TO YOUR HOUSE AND SELECT MERGE FAMILY! Select return to game and Viola all done . Your sim will be by the mailbox with all it's same skills and occupations and everything the same way it was when you deleted it
