Date of Question: Aug 22 2008 | Question ID: 127703

I'm playing the sims2 now (pc), and now I'm trying to make my own neighborhood, and yeah at first it's empty, there's nothing in it, so I try to build a house, and decorating it with some stuffs. Now I want to know how to add a community lot to that empty neighborhood? Because it seems so weird looking the big neigbourhood without community lot ( ex: bowling, dining place). Thanks for anyone who help me to answer. ^^

It gives you the option to build a community lot too and I believe of various different sizes. I havent tried it myself but I know it theres!

When putting down lots, there is a spot of to the side of the window (the window with the lots in it) there should be two lots, community and private. Select the community lot and if you did it right the lot will turn blue instead of green.

When you go to place a lot, a screen will come up askign you to name your lot. It also asks if you want residential or community. Just click comunity. Residential lots will show up green, community lots will show up blue...And also make sure you have the Nightlife expansion pack if you want bowling or a dining place..ect....

Hope I helped
