I need help is there a music career for the sims 2 only or do I need the expansion pack?

You have to have a expansion pack. Its either seasons or Bon Voyonge. It will have a music career. Hope this helps.

It's actually University. You need to graduate too. It also adds guitars and drums and a bass.

There is no music career in the origional Sims 2 game. You need to expand the game in order to get those jobs.
