'Can't level terrain' ???

'Can't level terrain' ???
This is really bugging me, when I want to place the house I'm building on another level (can't remember what that's called) it keeps saying 'can't level terrain' what does that mean ?? What do I have to do to get it to let me build where I wanna build ?? Cos I haven't got anything in the way that I know off. Please help!

If you're talking about a lot I don't know. If it's walls you're trying to build, go to build mode and under the shovel icon choose the line w/ a down pointing arrow above it. Say yes to the question and that would let you build walls.

You shouldnt build on slopes it probably means, like wouldnt be able build a house on this / would you?

I know what it is you keep running your wall tool till it's off in mid air make absulutely sure that it's on your foundation and it should not do that. Hope I helped it happened yo me a lot.
