Date of Question: Feb 24 2008 | Question ID: 111074 In one of my households, a Sim recently invited another family over, choosing the invite family option on the phone. However, the family brought over their newborn baby and when they left, they did not take their baby home. Now it is stuck in my kitchen and one of my sims can only feed it occasionally. How do I get rid of the baby without completley deleting it from my game? |

How very odd. Have you tried re inviting the family to see if that works?
You may to delete the baby I'm sorry. Maybe if you have control of it's family you could switch to that family and invite them round and hope they return the baby.

What might work, is that take your family to a place like a park, or mall. Leave the baby at home. If you leave the baby at home without supper visio, the child abuse people will come to your house and take away the baby.

Okay I recomend a cheat to fix this
BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled true press shift thenclick the baby if make selectable is avadable then click it now it's your baby

I say you try typing the cheat bool prop testing cheats enabled true and do it on that family that the baby belongs to and shift click after typing it in on a sim in that family get the tombstone of life and death click on it and choose get family member and click on the babys name. Hope I helped.

I need to make a small correction to this cheat. After pressing Ctl C at the same time, it will bring up the cheat screen. Then type in 'boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true', exactly like that or it won't work. Then you can do the Shift click cheat on a sim and you need the 'tombstone of L & D'. This will allow you to create or kill sims. You may now be able to get rid of the baby if that is what you want to do. Also, you could try adding a neighbor to your family and then have them go to the computer of newspaper and choose the 'get own place' option. Then choose the baby to move with them. That should work also.

I had this once before. What I did was to enter the cheat "moving_objects on" and then I deleted the baby. Ha that sounds cruel, but it wasn't deleted from it's original household :)

I've had this happen before. You just leave the family. Then you could go to the family that had the baby when you invited them over and after a little while go back to the house that the stranded baby was in and itn't be there. Or you could get out of that house, go to a different neighborhood, go to a house in that different neighborhood, and after awhile go back to the house that had the stranded baby in it and it shouldn't be there anymore. This should work

This happened to me and while the nanny was feeding it the mother(dina)came and took it back I think?or I think she might of left it ,but she did could come an her step was to get baby
