Question for The Sims

My sim has 2 stars nd she has all of the friends( I need 2 but I have 6) and stuff but when I go there and do really good it wont give me more stars! Please tell me what to do

Well I got up to 2 stars then I couldent get anymore but then I figured out that it meant 2 friends that are stars(just check in the magizine that comes with the paper and if you know anyone on the 'who's hot' list ring then and invite them over and make them your friend but 2 people in your family must like them)
