I've got Theme Hospital on my computer, and I'm running Windows XP, but the game isn't working properly - it seems like it is but things are silly, like drugs only having 25% effectiveness (on the first level) and people coming in with the diseases you normally only see on the really hard levels. It won't let me reinstall onto Windows XP - is there any way to get it to work? Thanks.

First... Those are supposed to happen, after the first one or two hospitals, you get a R&D team, and can increase the effectiveness of the drugs, and as to the second part of the advanced diseases, that happens too, generally you get cures... But some(particularly invisibility) are hard to "cure", that's one of the interesting parts of the game, the diagnosis part, if the doctors are stupid(meaning try hiring smarter doctors)they won't find the right cure for them, and you will get a lot of this patient has a "70% chance of this disease" cure send home or wait.. Messages, as to the uninstall, and reinstall, did you uninstall it completely and delete what got left behind? If the folder is still on the C drive delete it. Then try again. Like I said at the top, nothing was wrong, that is how the game operates.. :D A hospital pun.. ;)
