The largest clumping of Mule Deer is found on the Northern Tip of Whitehart Island. For this reason, when hunting on a free membership, you should always select "The Causeway" as your starting position when looking to bag a Mule deer.

If you go South to the Lake or West to the Awi'i Usdi stones, you're leaving prime Mule Deer territory.

Mule Deers are mostly found on Logger's Point. Free players can only hunt whitetail deers which also are common on Loggers Point.

free players can only hunt mule deer not whitetail, best place to find mulies is border lodge the very norther point of the map, the first stand you walk to, use bleat, and you should see sme mulies

i dont thing that there are more than 2 or 3 deers on the island and even if you are patient it is too difficult to find one!
Guest answered:

The only place you can find mule deer is on logger island which is also the only place that you can hunt with a guest pass.

No its not. You can find every animal on any reserve some are just going to be more common and you can play any reserve with a guest pass. You really need to do your research.

spawn at the top of loggers point go to the nearest tower and just call in deer up in the tower (trust me i get some good bucks from there)
Guest answered:

I always find them in clearings all around the place. They sometimes are with Whitetail deer aswell.

Check out other hunters profiles(Through Doc or by name in "Friends"). Find players with highest scoring kills and check their last hunts. (For example when there is a competition going on.) You can click on the score numbers and see detailed info on the kill, including position. Now, write that down or smthin. Then go in game and use your HuntersMate to find that postion. That way you can get a general idea of where the big deer can be seen. Using this method I've figured out that On Loggers Point , starting from Field lodge (following the road) many big deers have been taken down in the area just ahead. In the region not far behind those big cliffs where the road turns uphill. Just get up on that cliff, lay flat and call them. (just a suggestion)

I aswell found many mule deers at field lodge and the northest from there. But the mule deer bucks mostly are located close to the north road of field lodge.

Guest answered:

Well if you start at the part of loggers point with the line through it then head to the nearest tower when you get there you need to make sure you have a heard a mule deer and that it is close enough to be seen on the hunter mate map then with a deer bleating caller climb up the tower then sound the caller. If you get a response you know it's a pack but the response wont be until at least 4 minutes later then when they reply they will be a bit closer then call back and keep doing this facing the direction the call is from and you should see a big buck coming your way!
It's because the buck is coming to the call because it thinks there's a doe near so it wants it to join it's pack so it will lead it's pack and call every now and then for a response and follow the noise until it loses track again and calls again to make sure where the 'doe' is and if she is still there.
Be aware if you are lucky you will find a pack with two bucks and a whole load of does. This is where the packs have met and joined up so two bucks team up in leading the pack. Hope this helped!
The best times are 8:00 and 17:00
