How do I get out of the caves in the chapter Riddles of the dark?

It really depends on where you are. When you are down in the mines where the goblins are, you need to talk to Ugslap who guards the gate where Balfor is being held prisoner.

Just follow his instructions and later, you have to fight him. Then climb up to the jail where Balfor is. Carefully sneak around the guards (really easy) and there's Balfor.

Set him free by activating the lever that the game will tell you where. Then mosy around a little bit and collect some items. Then follow the cave Balfor said led out of the caves.

There will be a chain and up at the top, there are three guards. Fight them, and get in the mine cart. The mine cart is like a maze thing where you have to try to find your way across the mine tracks to the exit.

It will come up at you suddenly so just try to have fun finding your way.

But try not to find it immediatley though. Along the way, some dead ends lead to the big, white jewls and a Vigour Potion. When you get out of the mine cart, it is pretty self-explanatory.

Go get the ring at the end of the slimy dark cave but wait! Behind the steps with the Courage points on them is a health potion. Grab it since you never know what's going to happen in MIRKWOOD FOREST (ooh, scary.)
