You really can't change your character's race or appearance if that's what your asking but if you want to change the birth stone then you would have to find the stone's them self's.

Guest answered:

You can't change your character. You can only change what they are wearing by pressing B and going to items> Apparel. Well you can't change their face or body. Sucks, yup.

yes and no. you can get the achievement that way, or by going to one of the 'Hall of the Dead' Areas and killing the "dead-taker" aka the carer/embalmer. and taking their tools. then sell the tools to a merchant/general store/etc.

Can I change it without the doc pack?
Guest answered:

Theres a woman that will change your face nothing more if you get dawnguard

Guest answered:

Ok here goes... Start your game, immediately save the game when asked before the execution: "who are you" ... Make sure to write down or memorise every adjustment you make on the sliders... Then play your game. Anytime during the game you can load that save, adjust the lipstick, and facepaint and makeup... What I couldnt figure out is hair and eye color, I guess those are permanent, also the initial features cannot be changed... After those changes, save again when the guard says: "captain, she/he is not on the list" then load immediately your last real save. Enjoy... Oh one more thing, one you exit the game, the changes are gone. (Done on XBOX 360) no clue if this works on other systems

Guest answered:

The only trustworthy way you can change your appearance is to get the Dawnguard DLC. Otherwise you may be able to do it on PC.
