Question for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Have received the quest to deliver flin to Dangor at the mine but when I get there, he is not there. How do I find Dangor? Cannot finish the quest if he isn't in the mine to receive the flin.

After entering, mine continue heading straight to the last room with wooden stairs. Walk to top of stairs and turn left and you'll see a hole in wall and Dangor is just beyond there. At top of steps you have to turn right just a little and you'll get onto the rock pathway leading to the hole. I missed route 1st time, but when coming back into room, I saw the guard standing up there with his torch and could see where I had to go.
