Ive tried many times, and so far the farthest I've gotten was to the fourth fight... Is there any specific upgrade path I can do to take me to victory??? Thanks a ton.

Yes there is my friend. Get 9 agility in the start and 2 charisma, after the 1st fight buy the 2nd weapon on the ranged which is the Oak Slingshot. After this, you will keep on fighting and every time you can upgrade, upgrade the agility until it is level 30, and you have the best bow. You will probably be fighting the 2nd tournament and all you need to do to beat the game is to bomb-yard the enemies and upgrade anything you want.
