How do you capture castle estates? The instruction manuel says to capture the flag but no matter how many soldiers I have around the flag, as soon as the lord of the castle dies, it crumbles into a village estate. Can anyone help?

Yeah you pay in honor to buy estates. Like vid said most cost 100 honor.
Yeh but you see in chapter 6 mission 2 how do you recapture your friends catle, how do you take control?
Those answers are actually only part of the answer.
You can purchase the estate by clicking on the flagpole and then on the 100 honour button (presuming you have enough hounour, however if an enemy has that estate, then you have to put your troops next to the flagpole.You can't take an estate that an ally already has.Also, the lord who kills the lord whose caastle it was becomes the new owner of that estate.e.g.If I was allied to "The Hawk", and he killed "Lady Seren", then it would be his estate, meaning you can't recapture it until an enemy next captures it.
