I'm having trouble with this cheat G_saberpickupabledroppedsaber 1. ..

I think your problem is that the cheat doesn't work. Or at least not when I tried it. If you want, you can also try G_saberpickupabledroppedsaber 0. I heard thats supposed to do the same. But, like the first one, it didn't work for me.

I have an answer to this probelm but it takes a whole lot to get it working however i do have it and it does work

first thing you want to do is download a mod called the melee mod and install it (you can find it by typing in google) read the read me file and then start the melee mod by double clicking on the melee.bat file after you have installed the mod, it will run and bring you into a room with enemies and they keep respawning, they dont have lightsabers they have swords and weapons, however you will have the ability to take there weapons and use them because the dropsaber is already enabled, to test if its working you should be able to bring up the console and type "dropsaber" and your sword or saber should drop, which means you can pick up your enemies saber or whatever they have by walking over it and press the use button "enter"

ok so no you have that installed but your not done yet if you want to use it in the regular game

first you have to exit the game.
then go to the melle folder that you installed to the gamedata folder. in there should be a jaconfig open this with wordpad. you should see command lines. now go find this commandline
seta g_saberPickuppableDroppedSabers "1"
copy it then exit the jaconfig file.
go to the base folder loctaed in the game data folder and open the jaconfig file in there using wordpad.
paste this code that you copied
seta g_saberPickuppableDroppedSabers "1"
into that jaconfig file and then go to the top and click file save. close the jaconfig file.

the last step is very important before you start your game right click the jaconfig file and go to propeties then find the box that says read only and check it then click apply click ok and your good to go
you must have this checked because as soon as you start your game it will overwrite the jaconfig file and remove the cheat
if you dont

now start your game as soon as you start it
to check and see if it worked open your console and type "dropsaber"
if your saber falls to the ground congradulations you have the ability to take your enemies saber

and one more thing its kind of a trick sorta but you probably already know
if you open your console and type "bind a dropsaber"
it will set dropsaber to the "a" key. it will work with any key its just kind cool to be able to drop your saber on the fly . i use it with my xbox controller and map keys using xpadder. if you like using controllers instead check out xpadder, and remeber google is your friend lol

P.S do not type the cheat code for drop enemy sabers because it will disable it when u start up the game when your playing a level it should already be enabled
