To the top right you have a mini map. Below the map there is a small arrow pointing downwards to the bottom right of the mini-map. Click there and you will see an option to visit the star ship bridge. Once you have beamed to the bridge you will notice on your mini-map that there is a separate room then the one you are already in. That is the ready room or captain's office.
