How to unlock the door at the restaurant?? (this is the mission were you plant a bug in the ac vent of the restaurant.)

If your playing on pc then you use the arrow keys to move the pins and the arrow keys to lock them into position when they turn green.
It can be a pain. (Up arrow to move them. Left arrow to lock them.)

I have definitive edition on xbox one. I'm stuck in this mission when I have to pick the lock. I move right stick up/down and as soon as lock turns green I flick left stick to left but nothing happens.Guest answered:
For unlocking the door you have to press "W" (the acceleration button) when the tablet shaped thing is green then quickly click the left mouse button and along with that press "A" (left direction button)[make sure your fingers are ready to left mouse button and "A" (left direction button)]. Do it 3 times to unlock the door.

#SleepingDogs Pick Lock:
Lock has number of moving cylinders based on the difficulty of the level.
Move a cylinder up using "W"/"UP" arrow.
When the cylinder turn green move to next cylinder with "A"/"Left Arrow"
If you miss it will reset the previous cylinder.
Keep in mind: All cylinders turn green at different level.
For a given cylinder, check at which point of the cylinder it turn green. Move to next cylinder a fraction of second before the point where the cylinder turns green.
This is how I was able to pick locks in #sleepingdogs
