Hi know how to make leather you have to go to the dessert and you will a brown shirt in the map you have to enter the room and you will see a man that have to pay 3 cents for each cowhides
To make it clear
1.Kill cows for cowhides or just buy from people
2.head to east side of alkarid where the bank is and make sure your cowhide is not noted
3.head to the room (forgot the icon) 3 rooms right of the bank
4.talk to him and ask him to tan your hides for you
Soft hides are 1gp each
Hard hides are 3gp each
You tan cowhide the exact same way as you smelt metals. Collect the cow hide, then take it to a furnace.
@ sote, lol you can?? I'm pretty sure you pay the tanner to tan it for you >.<
Ok kill the cow get you're hides go to alchrid and look around and you will find a tanner
Kill cows for cowhide then go to a place in Al Kharid where there is a borwn shirt symbol and talk to the storekeeper.
Cowhides are dropped by cows when they are killed. If it is brought to a tanner, it can be turned into soft leather for 1 coin or hard leather for 3 coins. A tanner can be found in Al-Kharid, the Ranging Guild, Varrock, Canifis and the Crafting Guild. Soft and hard leathers can then be crafted into various pieces of equipment through the Crafting skill. The best place for Free-to-play players to kill cows for cowhides is the field northwest of Lumbridge because players may deposit their cowhides and raw beefs they obtained with Beefy Bill, who charges a 10% commission. On the downside, cows are more scattered compared to Lumbridge's cow field.
Killing cows can often be beneficial for low-level free players as the cowhides and raw beefs obtained can be sold for a decent profit. It also grants combat experience, making it an activity worthy of a new player's time and effort.
To make more money, a player may tan their hides into soft leather for just 1 coins extra and sell the hide for about 50 coins more than a cowhide. A player can also create hard leather which only requires 3 coins extra and returns a profit of about 82 coins per hide. Although it may take more time to tan the hides, the Al Kharid bank is near the Al Kharid tanner and so it is not that much of a hassle tanning hides.
Hope I helped! [/color]
