Yes, you still get to keep all your member stuff, but it becomes classified as 'Member's object' and you can't do anything with it, if you are wearing armour or weapons when you stop being a member, you still wear the armour or weapons, unfortunately you don't get all the special bonuses, such as attack and defence bonuses. Your stuff just acts like it isn't there, although others can see it. Also, once you remove the member armour you can't put it back on as it's classified as 'Member's object'. Your bank also becomes cluttered with junk you can't use.

I suggest you sell all your stuff a few days before you stop being a member.

You can keep your member items. But at a price, the game won't let you wear them once you take them off. If you are holding any member weapons when you attack you will punch.
