You need to be a member to enchant the ring but not to wear it.Use the lvl 1 enchant spell on a sapphire ring.

Actually ultimate cheater, you have to use the lvl 49 enchant spell on a ruby ring ro make a ring of forging.

The sapphire ring enchanted is a ring of recoil.
