why i can't to put codes in rome total war? i try to press button (~) and this nothing...i can't to put codes...why?

Try using different keys. I use ` (the key under ESC) and it works fine. Others have reported that @ / and | also open up the cheat console for them.

I had the same problem. I have a laptop and an item in the device manager section messes with the ~ key. Go to device manager - go to human interface devices - go the ehome inferred transiver and uninstall it. BOOM Fixed.
