How do you build paths and rollercoasters underground?

You need to lower the ground where you want to start and then you slop the path down and it will go into underground view. Do the same but slop the path up to get it to normal height. It is the same with rollercoasters and my favourite to do that with is the go-kart tracks
And once the ground is lowered or raised, you need to click on the go up or down button down below the build button, there are two buttons one is flat build and one on the right of that is the build down or above button, only available for paths, but for rides, just lower the land and if you have enough land raised or lowered the piece will appear
