Question for Roller Coaster Tycoon

I built a ride and went to test it but the car was facing the wrong way and going the wrong way even though I built it the other way how do I change the direction the car is going at the start

I think you may have unwittingly built the ride backwards. Refer to the tutorial for the correct directions! (So you can build rides forwards in future)
