Don't worry. I am in the same boat. I have no idea how to save the game. I didn't even want to play the game today. It opened up when I logged on and I played and now I don't remember how to save.
PLEASE! SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO SAVE!

You can only save the game at certain points, click on the button in the top left of your keyboard in front of you - the 'esc' or 'escape' key. You have three options, to continue, save and exit.
