Press L and it's R for Collected
Guest answered:

Go to the library and click on extended canter read it and then go to dressage, canter and press L

Guest answered:

Before your horse is able to learn any of these moves you MUST go to the library and read them. For example if you needed Collected Trot you must go to the library and read the book which is titled 'Collected Trot.' Otherwise your horse will be unable to learn the compulsory moves.

oops I missed something! Once you have read the book you must go & do dressage. When it asks for the gait you want e.g Extended Canter then you need to go into Ordinary Canter NOT Working Canter and hold down L. Also are you sure this move is needed in the dressage routine? Because I do not seem to remember an Extended Canter but I remember a Collected Canter. All the moves are located in the booklet in the box on page 8.
