Question for Paws & Claws Pet Vet

I am unable to figure out how to get the horse on the obstacle course how to jump a barrel. What buttons do you push?

The screen should show 3 squares with horses standing, galloping, and in mid-jump. So use the control pad (the thing that has points like a compass, I think it's called the control pad, but anyway..) use the control pad to steer the horse. Then while you are doing that, tap the square with the galloping horse BUT DON'T STOP STEERING. Sometimes it takes a few times to get up to a gallop but once you do, get close to the barrels and tap the square with the jumping horse. If you get stuck between 2 lines of barrels, start walking as far away from them as possible, then gallop and jump again.

Press b over and over to gallop, then when in gallop press x to jump!
