My task on my Pet Vet game is to ride my horse in the fields. However, there is a sign in front of the fields that says that the town outskirts are closed. It won't let me go there. How do I fix this?

Well you have to download a "patch" but in doing that I think it deletes all the files on the game.
6 years too late :( you need to ride your horse up beside the fence, dismount (so you're on the other side!) click to lead your horse, and take off walking. You'll both teleport there.
