How do you kill the boss at the end of the Catacomb level.

The one where there's a deep pit full of fire?

Look up near the pit and there is a star shoot the middle and light will shine in. Stand near the edge of the walk way until the demon goses into the light. It will explode, then above the pitt is the end of that level.
