I am stuck "In The Depths"

... Killing the Salamander King. Last night I turned my 360 off, I thought my game was saved.. So, the only place I can spawn myself is "Wasteland Sanctuary Depths" or "Wasteland Main." I can't find a way through to complete the Salamander King Quest. I made it to the point that he was rolling back and forth across the big skate board looking pike (?).. I know this is kind of screwy, but if anyone could help, tell me how to get where I need to be, I'd appreciate it!

you have to take your overlord into the water and atack the ramp to make it fall and the salamander will fall into the water and you kill it then the head will fall of and you atk the head to beat him.

Get at least 20 blues 18 reds and 4 browns
Position your blues in the water on a banner
Position your reds next to your blues out of the water you destroy the ramp your reds will keep on attacking the king and salamanders send your browns to gear them up and get liforce just in case
Keep on attacking the head till the king dies
Then when the battle is over get more browns out and equip all the stuff to all your minions
