Guest answered:

It is a meteorologic phenomenon that is caused by the interactions of warm air and cold air which form a tornado or tornado like turbulent air mass. The warm air that is riding interacts with the cold air which produces a funnel column of air, because the two temperature variants (hot vs. Cold air) creates a disturbance which manifests as a tornado. This phenomenon when acted upon the face of a mountain it produces a mistour which is the result of the air torsion which becomes compacted against the mountain resulting in a breaking of the air mass which produces violent winds capable of displacing heavy rocks and even boulders under extreme conditions which will become more likely and more frequent due to global climate change. This is a unique phenomenon that is only observed in this specific mentioned environment when the above mentioned weather interacts with the immovable face of a mountain or ice glacier.
