Question for Jewel Quest

I can get the monkeys into the cages in jewel quest heritage and turn background gold but it does not end the level. Why not please help

I got through the monkey levels by winning the rounds over and over again and after filling all of the cages I put multiple monkeys in a single cage toward the end. The iPad version has a glitch in it only where the monkeys are used. I don't remember putting more than one monkey in more than one cage to win, but if one doesn't work, can't hurt to try lol.
