"Your client is too old for the server"

So, I recently began playing Halo for PC (again) on a new computer. I tried downloading all of the patches and playing through Gamespy. Why am I still getting the error saying "Your client is too old for the server" when I try to join games on gamespy? Help me! Thanks!

well that basically means that u have to upgrade ur halo and u do that by when u press internet it says looking for upgrades and when it says do u want to upgrade say yes and you'll be good
