How do I get the console to run? I typed in C:GameFolder then there was a square and then I typed shift.exe and it said not found?

Go where you have installed blue shift and create a desktop shortcut of the blueshift.exe file then go to the shortcut's properties in there select the shortcut tab.There you will find target and in front of it the place where you have installed the game will appear. In it after the bshift.exe give a space and type " -console" (don't write '') and click apply.After it start the game with the shortcut and when the game will start just press ~ to open the console menu.Then type \sv_cheats 1and then type the following cheats:

/god
/impulse 101
/noclip
