Any one got any tips for beating Mephisto?

Im a barbarian

Just close the distance quickly enough and smash him up.
He has powerful close range poison so keep antidotes and good healing potions at the ready.

He is a powerful magic caster so quickly close him up or you will get toasted, electrified, and shattered with frost.

Oh man, do I have an awesome strat for you.

Your barbarian has to know the leap ability though. First, you leap across the pit of lava to where Mephisto is, then you draw his attention by hitting him once.

He will chase you. Go back to the pit of lava where you leaped over and leap back. He will try to follow you but he will not be able to cross the pit of lava.

Now just crush him with projectile attacks (usually good if you have a sorceress with you to help) He won't even TOUCH you.

Then just leap back over and pick up his soulstone and any other goodies you can find.
