Question for Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour

When trying to install the game I am prompted to insert disc 2 and press OK. I put the disc in the CD ROM and it blinks the little light telling me it's reading it. I click OK and the box goes away for a few minutes.

Then it comes back. I click ok again, it comes back immediately. Looking at the CD-ROM, the light is now OFF as if the tray is empty. Reinsert CDROM, repeat process. Still not installing.

I open My Computer and check the CD Drive. It shows GENERALS2 in the drive. I am able to explore the CD. But clicking OK on "Insert Disc 2" still does nothing. Any ideas?

This problem is either being caused by your disc drie itself or disc 2, which may be damaged. I'm no computer expert, but I can assure you the problem rests either in the disc or the disc drive. First, try cleaning the disc. If that doesn't work, your disc drive may be to blame, as I've never had that problem with my Zero Hour installation. Hope this helps.
